Welcome to my website where you can find out all about my current books and those in progress.

First of all to introduce myself, my great interests in life are writing, acting, flying and cats. Reading books as well of course. During my judicial career I spent a lot of time waiting around for people to turn up for their court appearances, they were often late or never turned up at all, so I used the time to read books and often read a book a day.

Along the way I have been an actor and director in amateur acting groups, a St John Ambulance nurse, guide leader, amateur bookbinder, hot air balloon pilot, non-executive director of a local hospital trust, and an enthusiastic chronicler of local history.

Fortunately I no longer need to go out to work and can forget all about the law. My days now need to be more structured to fit everything in that I want to do, but at least I am no longer bound as a lawyer to find someone to charge for every minute of my time. Instead I am grateful to all who buy my books and are interested in my travels. Let’s get going!
