‘A Red Squirrel Ate My Handbag’ by ‘Lynda J McMahon’

This book is not a gentle stroll through hosts of golden daffodils. It is a walk through the wildwood with surprisingly much to admire and hope for.

An entertaining and thought-provoking collection of verse and flash fiction. It faces the realities of life and dealing with them.

It is both a treasure and a pleasure.

This book of poetry is designed as a booklet that can be sent to friends instead of a card. It is sold in a clear polybag containing the booklet and a C5 envelope.

About the author

Lynda McMahon was born in Halifax in 1954. As soon as she learnt to read she wanted to be a writer. She graduated from Huddersfield University with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and PGCE in Further Education. For many years she worked as a lecturer in English and communications. During this time she gained an MA(Lit) from the Open University which reminded her that she had always wanted to be a writer.
Now happily retired and living in Kenilworth with her husband, Martin, she is doing what she was always meant to do, writing.
